Autonomous Vehicles

Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) are revolutionizing modern transportation by integrating artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, computer vision, robotics, sensor fusion, and advanced communication technologies to enable vehicles to operate with minimal or no human intervention. Equipped with technologies such as LiDAR, radar, cameras, GPS, and real-time data processing, autonomous vehicles can perceive their surroundings, make intelligent driving decisions, and navigate complex environments with enhanced safety and efficiency. These innovations are paving the way for smarter, connected, and sustainable transportation systems.

The Autonomous Vehicles track at the World Congress on Emerging Technologies and Future Innovations 2027 provides an international platform for researchers, engineers, automotive experts, AI scientists, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the latest developments shaping the future of intelligent mobility. The program will feature cutting-edge research on autonomous driving algorithms, perception systems, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, connected and cooperative vehicles, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), digital twins, edge computing, cybersecurity for autonomous systems, high-definition mapping, and human–machine interaction.

This track will also examine the transformative impact of autonomous technologies across passenger transportation, logistics, public transit, agriculture, mining, construction, marine systems, and aerial mobility. Discussions will address critical challenges including functional safety, ethical decision-making, regulatory frameworks, data privacy, cybersecurity, energy efficiency, and public acceptance of autonomous systems. Emphasis will be placed on integrating electric mobility, smart infrastructure, 5G/6G communication networks, and AI-driven traffic management to create resilient and sustainable transportation ecosystems.

Researchers are invited to present innovative methodologies, simulation models, real-world deployments, industrial case studies, and emerging applications that advance autonomous mobility. Through keynote lectures, technical sessions, panel discussions, and collaborative networking, this track aims to foster interdisciplinary innovation and accelerate the adoption of safe, intelligent, and connected autonomous vehicle technologies that will shape the future of transportation worldwide.
